The Rec Post - Chocolate Box, Round 4

Disclaimer: I have not had the time to go through CB properly this year, as circumstances have been changing very fast.
My Gift:
To be between two religions - Les Miserables
Enjolras/Marius! Seriously, Enjolras/Marius UST! And it’s wonderfully canon-era, too. The plot is very simple - Marius goes swimming, Marius is entranced by Enjolras - But the execution is sublime. Marius gets to see a more earthly side of Enjolras, while being so believably Marius. Seriously, this author’s canon voice is lovely.
Recommendations:
Breathe - The Terror - This adorable picture of Tuunbaq and Silna. It’s simple and folksy and very ‘clean’, which really fits the arctic landscape of the setting. Seriously, the linework is lovely.
Pati Pactae - Mahou Shoujo Madoka
Small and sweet. Filled with evocative witchy imagery, Homura in hard-working witch exterminator mode, and a lovely canon-style portrait of her devotion to Madoka’s happiness. (Disclaimer: I Beta’d this)
Gentle Insanity - Mahou Shoujo Madoka
Madoka comforting Sayaka in a timeline where the two are lovers. Bittersweet and sad, which fits really well with the tone of the series.
