Hello, dear writer!

For my main gift, I'd prefer fanfiction. Fanart treats are fine, though!

General I’d prefer not-list: Trans headcanons, AUs*, grimdark, modern politics/attitudes in historical fandoms** Modern Mental health terminology(I don't mind if a character is written as having X or Y, but I would prefer not having it named or diagnosed, unless it is referred to in a period-specific way such as ‘Shell-Shock’) Homo/transfobia-free AU

*Canon divergence is fine!
**IE Characters being unrealistically accepting of homosexuality, mental illness, etc(Unless established in canon).

Things I enjoy: Genfic, banter, historical details, period attitudes to sexuality, H/C, history. Genfic, particularly if it tries to capture the mood/feel of canon.

Pandora's Choice

Where to find this canon

What this canon is about: Bleak family stories, alcoholism, womanhood in mid-19th century America.

Christopher Blais/Veronica Blais

-Courtship
-Parent(s) of loved one not approving of marriage
-Permanently Transported To Alternate Universe Where They're Married To Person Who Is Dead In Theirs

These two have a terribly fraught relationship. I'm curious over how it would continue, had Ronnie lived - Would she have stayed? Would Chris have grown, even by a margin? Would they continue to make eachother unhappy? How would Chris react to waking up next to his once-dead wife? Would he do better, worse?

I'd also love to just see the wedding itself. Chris' courting Veronica as best he can, Veronica trying to find something to look forward to about the wedding - Of course, Chris' relatives wouldn't approve.

Jeremy Durand/Pandora Blais

-Formal Courtship and Proposal
-Unknowingly Marrying a Relative
-Parent(s) of loved one not approving of marriage

Jeremy and Pandora actually getting married. Either by not finding out about Jeremy's parentage until after the wedding, or perhaps the older generation brings the secret to their graves. Or just talk about it and try to keep the marriage from going through. Or cheer it on? Have conflicted feelings about it?

Black Jack

Where to find this canon: Published by Vertical. Can be found at a local library if you're lucky enough to live in en English-speaking country.

What this canon is about: Pulp fiction, weird science, medical drama.

Black Jack/Kisaragi Kei

-Carried Over The Threshold
-Pining for Spouse
-Undercover as Married
-Becoming a step-parent
-Courtship

Marriage is a very 'female' thing to look forward to in Japanese culture of the period the comic is set in, so I'd love to see Kei's thoughts on that explored. Is this something she's always looked forward to? Is it something she fears? Would she rather not have this made into a big deal at all? And how would she deal with Pinoco? Would there be much initial friction, is there some hope for reconciliation? Bonding over medical interest? Reluctantly having to work together on a patient in BJ's absence?

I wouldn't mind seeing Kei keep her job, too - Would they have trouble finding time to spend with eachother? How would they keep in touch, if possible?

I'd also not be averse to casefic where the Kei and BJ are masquerading as a couple, for example to aces contraceptive drugs for plot-related reasons, or get into a resort to talk to a prospective donor. Or just mistaken for one when doing completely mundane things.

And finally, seeing the steps from dating to marriage would be just lovely.

Desert Peach

Where to find this canon

Miki/Kjars Winzig

-Marrying Your Enemy
-All Agree To Marriage For Both Urgent Practical Reasons And Love - Neither Realizes/Believes This
-War marriage
-Class conflict in marriage
-Undercover as Married
-Forced Marriage Leads to Genuine Feelings
-Improvised Unofficial Wedding Ceremonies
-Marriage of Convenience marrying to survive
-Proposal misunderstood as being for ulterior motives

These two have that kind of relationship that probably started out really skeevy, but ultimately seems to have gone sweet in the end. I'd love to see the ins and outs - Do they get married literally in the field? Is it a small, courthouse affair? Does Kjars literally find her as soon as he's out of prison camp, and claim her as his 'wife' to keep her with him? Is it even legal? Is it just easier to present her as his wife, before they even get married? Does she ever trust his feelings to be genuine?

Either way, Miki's tough survival attitude complements Kjars, well, officer-ness very well, and I'd love to see them bicker at least a little.

Rosen Kavalier/Pfirsich Rommel

-Asking someone to be their witness
-First Legal Gay Wedding
-Friends and family being way too involved in wedding planning
-Historical Marriage Traditions
-Romantic proposal
-Symbolic marriage/marriage ceremony because legal marriage is not permitted
-Wedding Planning

These two. They're engaged. They need to get married already! Wether it's in Africa, in front of the dunes with Udo as man of honour and Stange officiating, or in Berlin, in front of a bemused son ex-orphan - Just anything, as long as there's a small blessing and blushing groom. Or two blushing grooms, depending on Rosen's circumstances.

And the engagement ring! There's a ring. How did that happen? Canon has been very quiet on that front. Did Rosen run over half of Paris? Did he intend it as a joke? Who gave him the idea? Did Pfirsich take it seriously at first? Did he cry?

If there is any way to make it 'legal'? Even if it's just via juridicial error or some old, long-forgotten legal footnote? Yess, go for it. Even loopholes apply. Or just keep it ceremonial, because the two are clearly very in love and ready to make that commitment, even if the law won't acknowledge it.

Their relationships with the rest of the characters are just as sweet, so if you'd like to add that to the story, go nuts. Hans carrying rings? Udo setting up the Polterabend? Erwin dealing with his new brother-in-law? The rest of the boys being absolutely and utterly engrossed in making sure Herr Oberst has The Best Wedding? Everything is game.

Canon-specific like: Udo-not-going-to-Siberia-and-being-in-Berlin-AU

Canon specific DNW: Nothing too dark for these two. The other requests can run the whole gamut between bleak and fluffy, but for this one, I'd prefer unambiguously happy endings.
